Don’t look at people or competitors as your enemies, but instead see them as business partners. If you have a good offer it is more advantageous for a list owner to mail out your offer for a percentage of the commission than to sell a solo ad.
If you can mail to your list for them that helps them build their list and at the same they make a few dollars.
This is a great way to drive traffic to your offer and build a list at the same time. Another way to approach a list owner is to offer to pay them so much per click. When starting out, I don’t mind paying a little more to begin my list in a particular niche.
Affiliate marketing is no different than anything else. It is something that you have to work at consistently, diligently, without becoming discouraged. This means that it is necessary to write posts to your website frequently and promote them in as many places as possible on the Internet.
Link Building Is Not Dead
Unless you are promoting your own product, you are not the only one promoting any one affiliate product. This is why you must stand out from the competition.
Each article that is posted should be submitted to a pinging site as well as as many social sites as possible. By posting the link of your article that contains your offer on sites like StumbleUpon, Twitter, and Facebook for example are great ways to get links back to your article.
When promoting affiliate offers it is best to choose the ones that have and support materials to help promote that particular product. Some of the tools that are helpful are detailed statistics, payment reports, as well as banners and sales pages. It may be necessary to create

When it comes to giving away value and e-book on the topic or niche you are in is a great way of giving value for free. It doesn’t cost you any overhead. Done right your e-book could go viral causing an avalanche traffic to your site. The goal here though is making the e-book as helpful and valuable to your subscriber as possible.
When looking at sales pages for products there are a few things I always take into consideration.
The first thing I do is notice where my eyes go automatically when I look at the sales page. And when I have determined where my eyes fall most often take note of what is there. Does it draw you more into the page or is it a distraction? The bottom line is is it pleasing to the eye?
The next thing I look for our other distractions. Some sales pages are written like a blog post and have distractions or places where a person can click away from the page in the margin. If there are links to other pages or places in the website I will not promote that product. The last thing I want is someone clicking away from the sales page that I have worked hard to get them to.
When it comes to affiliate marketing, be realistic. The likelihood of you making a fortune off of just one product is highly unlikely. It is often necessary to have multiple streams of income from multiple niches. It may be necessary to launch several websites and different niches and products to find the one or two that convert well.
It’s important to take note of your process and of the things that work well, so that you can go back and do those things over and over. Once you find what works for you then you can scale that up in the sky’s the limit.

Probably one of the most important and valuable things that any marketer can do, especially with technology progressing at the rate that it is, is to find a mentor or someone who is successful in the Internet marketing or affiliate marketing space.
This can alleviate a whole lot of frustration and springboard to forward toward success sooner than trying to reinvent the wheel.
